It is incredibly easy to overeat on Thanksgiving! With so much food in front of you, it's hard to say no! According to the Calorie Control Council, Americans consume a whopping 4,500 calories on Thanksgiving day! If you want to limit your caloric intake this holiday season, try some of these following tips. Firstly, take your time. Eat slower and spend time talking to the people around you, eating more slowly will allow your body time to digest and understand how much food you have already eaten! Another tip is to stay hydrated, as some people often mistake dehydration for hunger! My last tip is to start with veggies! By filling up on vegetables first, you will reduce the amount of fatty meats, sides, and desserts you can eat later on!
